KFC will be offering a strange Mother's Day promotional item in its the Kentucky Fried Buckquet, a DIY floral arrangement allowing customers to create a bouquet that is half flowers, half fried chicken.
From May 1 to 3, anybody who orders a KFC Sides Lover Meal via the KFC mobile app or KFC.com will receive a Kentucky Fried Buckquet, which was created in collaboration with the flower delivery company Proflowers.
The offer is not valid in restaurants.
After placing an order, the customer will receive an email with a discount code that can be used to redeem the DIY floral arrangement from Proflowers. 12 flowers, a glass vase, a KFC vase appliqué, a card, and eight skewers are included.
The Buckquet can be made up of KFC Extra Crispy chicken tenders or chicken that have been elegantly skewered and placed into a vase beside a dozen multi-colored roses.
As strange as it may seem, KFC claims that Mother's Day is one of the chain's busiest sales days of the year, with approximately 400,000 buckets sold, and it's also the busiest day for online ordering and delivery.
