Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx debuted as a couple last month when they appeared and posed together at the red carpet of Met Gala. But after officially ‘admitting’ that they are exclusively dating, the two was never seen together again. They have been spending more time apart, and even the events they go to these days are different.
Earlier this week, Katie was often spotted in New York, and Jamie was not there with her. In the past, when they were still ‘secretly’ dating, people see them in the streets, and they even have PDA moments in the park, but why did they suddenly stop hanging out together?
There is actually no special answer to this question, but it is just that they are both busy with their own works. The couple has been known to have lasted for years while on a long-distance relationship.
While Katie Holmes is in NYC, Jamie Foxx is in Los Angeles and has been going to various events there. He also recently filmed Jimmy Kimmel Live not with his girlfriend but with daughter Corinne.
It is understood that Katie Holmes is staying with her daughter Suri in the Big Apple while the “Django Unchained” star is in California and staying with his 25-year-old daughter. The father and daughter were also enjoying their time together as they bond through simple outings around the City of Angels.
Moreover, while Jamie is busy attending events like speaking engagements, Suri Cruise’s mom is very busy with filming movies. Katie has been working on four movies that covered almost all the genres. She has a horror film, a musical-type, a drama and a film based on a book.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx may not always be together, but they are used to this set up of a long-distance relationship that is why they click. Trust and commitment definitely play a big role in the longevity of their romantic relationship. Also, the fact that the actor’s daughter approves of Katie is a big plus as well.
