FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 27, 2017 -- OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OTCQX:OMCM) announced today that Kim Rejndrup has joined the company as the senior vice president of product development. Mr. Rejndrup spent nearly 20 years at Oracle Corporation, where he was a vice president of development for many of Oracle’s clinical research applications, including systems for electronic data capture (EDC), clinical trials management, data management, medical coding and data warehousing. In his new position at OmniComm, he will be based in the company’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters, where his extensive technical and industry experience will drive OmniComm’s products to new levels of excellence and innovation.
“The company’s broad, feature-rich product line and team of very talented individuals inspired me to join OmniComm,” Mr. Rejndrup said. “I am very pleased to be a part of this elite development group, and I look forward to helping the company expand its presence in the clinical software marketplace.”
OmniComm’s management team includes industry thought leaders with decades of combined experience in the clinical software marketplace and executive experience at other leading companies that provide EDC products to the life sciences industry. For example, Keith Howells, OmniComm’s chief technology officer, has more than 25 years of experience in building and implementing clinical research applications, including five years as the head of development for Oracle’s pharmaceutical application suite and five years as the head of development for Medidata Solutions.
“I worked with Kim for many years, and I know personally that he is one of the best in the business,” Mr. Howells said. “I am absolutely delighted that he’s chosen to join us.
