A sequel of “A Star Is Born” with both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in it is obviously impossible, but it does not mean they cannot work again together. But should this be a cause for concern for the actor’s long-time partner Irina Shayk?
Fans who have seen the film will agree that a sequel with both the actors is unlikely happening, but Cooper recently shared some ideas he has for another “A Star Is Born” project. “What I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something,” Lady Gaga’s co-star said in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” recently.
If ever Cooper’s idea becomes a reality, it could mean calling back the original cast of the film including Lady Gaga. It will also possibly attract enough audience considering that the “A Star Is Born” lead actors were some of the most talked about personalities since the film premiere in 2018 through early 2019 during the awards season.
The success of the film is anchored to Lady Gaga and Cooper’s on-screen and on-stage chemistry. Unfortunately, it also meant that a slew of dating rumors was published in the previous months despite the fact that Cooper has been with Shayk for around four years now.
However, all hard evidence is pointing to the conclusion that Shayk is not bothered about Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “A Star Is Born” performance. Just a few weeks ago, Cooper and Shayk were even photographed going out for a romantic night out. Together, they have a 2-year-old daughter.
A source of Us Weekly also said Shayk understands very well the nature of Cooper and Lady Gaga’s work, even their very emotional and romantic live performance of “Shallow” at the 2019 Oscar Awards. "It’s a non-issue for her. They were in character putting on an Oscar performance,” the insider said.
Even Lady Gaga dismissed all the romance rumors sparked by the said on-stage performance with Cooper. “Look, I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. I mean, when you’re singing love songs that’s what you want people to feel. I guess, we did a good job and fooled ya,” Lady Gaga said at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
