Lee Min Ho had recently been discharged from his mandatory military service a few days ago. For two years, the “City Hunter” star has been absent from the spotlight as he enlisted with the Suseo Social Welfare Center in May 2017.
So it comes to no surprise that fans of Lee Min Ho are eager to know what his next project will be. At the moment, the actor seems undecided as he’s reportedly reviewing projects that would befit his return to the entertainment industry, Philstar reported.
MYM Entertainment, Lee Min Ho’s talent agency, also broke the news on its Facebook page with a message from fans to support “The Heirs” star. And speaking of the Korean drama, there are rumors going around that one of the projects the actor is looking into is the making of “The Heirs 2.”
The problem is that Lee Min Ho’s co-star, Park Shin Hye, has already said that she’s not interested in reprising her role in the series. With the pair’s on-screen chemistry among the major foundation for the show’s success, it appears that the sequel will not be happening after all.
As such, other fans have turned their attention to yet another Korean hit drama, none other than “Legend of the Blue Sea.” The show ended on a satisfying note with Heo Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho) and Shim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) getting married. The union has also produced a baby for the couple, which the sequel can focus on to.
Of course, with no confirmation from MYM Entertainment and Lee Min Ho, it’s best to wait for an official announcement from the actor and his agency. In the meantime, those who have been patiently waiting for the 31-year-old’s return can check him out on Instagram.
Following his return to civilian life, Lee Min Ho has been constantly updating his page with several posts, most of which centered on his love for his mini pinscher dog, Choco. Hopefully, the Korean superstar soon decides what project he’s going to take as he’s been sorely missed by fans for the past couple of years.
