Lee Min Ho has been discharged from the army for exactly three weeks, and just five days after returning to civilian life, on May 7, it was announced that he had already chosen his comeback project. The actor will be reunited with “Heirs” and “Descendants of the Sun” writer Kim Eun Sook and while fans have been clamoring for “Heirs 2,” he is set to star in a fantasy historical drama instead.
Hwa&Dam Pictures, a Korean production company, confirmed Min Ho’s participation in “The King: The Eternal Monarch” (tentative title) drama. In the press release via Xports News, it was announced that Bae Suzy’s ex would work as the lead and filming will begin soon since the drama is slated for early 2020 release.
Now, Lee Min Ho did not waste time and immediately went on vacation after his discharge from the army. Since he will be working at once and presumably have other projects lined up for him even after “The King: The Eternal Monarch,” he really took the chance to relax and enjoy his time by going to places he really wants to see.
Fans truly miss him so much that they want to see him on screen as soon as possible, but because it will take a while before his drama arrives, he made sure to keep the Minoz updated by posting photos of his vacation. Based on his Instagram posts, he was in Spain where he enjoyed, hiking, biking, sightseeing and he even watched a soccer game in Barcelona.
Aside from his adorable pictures, the actor also uploads short videos where he showed not just the beautiful scenery but his “aegyo” (acting cute) as well. Fans are thrilled to see these and almost all his recent posts have garnered over a million likes already.
In any case, Lee Min Ho judging by his latest update on social media, it seems he is already back in South Korea. It can be assumed that he is reviewing his script now and preparing for events like interviews and pictorials for his upcoming comeback project.
