“Lost in Space” season 2 will soon be around to continue the story of the Robinson family that consists of parents and their three children. They were sent originally sent on a mission to space where they were directed to join a colony in the Alpha Centauri.
However, they were not able to fulfill their mission as their spacecraft called the Resolute, veered off course. It appeared that they had been attacked; that is why it happened, and now they were forced to land on a planet unknown to them as per CNET.
The plot
The family met an alien Robot friend that helped them go around and cope with life on the new planet. They are in danger, and this friend protected them and led them out of harm’s way. But unfortunately, in one of the fights with the enemy, the Robot vanished, and the Robinson family is not sure what exactly happened to it or where it went. Did he fall off from the cliff?
“Lost in Space” season 2 will be about finding the Robot, and this was revealed in the new trailer that was unveiled during the New York Comic Con early this month. The Robinson family will not give up and look for their friend, and young Will is especially keen on reuniting with his pal again. The clip revealed the title “Have You Seen My Robot,” and this was followed by Will saying, "I know he's out there somewhere."
Cast - Who will return?
“Lost in Space” season 2 will still feature the main characters that make up the Robinson family and they are John Robinson (Toby Stephens), Maureen (Molly Parker), and their children - Will (Maxwell Jenkins), Penny (Mina Sundwall) and Judy (Taylor Russell). Some new characters will also be seen in the upcoming chapter, and they are JJ Feild, but his role is still unknown, and Ignacio Serricchio as Dr. Smith.
Release date
"Lost in Space" season 2 has been confirmed to premiere on Dec. 24. It will be on Netflix, so expect all the episodes to drop all at once.
