Netflix's recently purchased, devil-featuring crime procedural “Lucifer” has already started production for season 4, to the delight of the show's loyal fans.
Originally a Fox production, the show was canceled due to consistently low ratings. Still, the show received acclaim for the stars' performances and its humor. Netflix picked up the show sometime in June for a ten-episode fourth season. While ten episodes seems too low a number for a renewal for the show, considering that “Lucifer” season 4 is the show's chance to prove it should never have been canceled in the first place, it is still good news for fans.
The show, based on Neil Gaiman's own Lucifer Morningstar character from DC's Sandman series, was initially met with censorship issues due to the main character's nature. Hopefully, the Netflix acquisition will allow the show to broadcast without as many calls for its censorship.
The show's two stars, Lauren German and Tom Ellis, who play Detective Chloe Decker and Lucifer Morningstar respectively, posted a video on Netflix Brazil's official Twitter page, greeting their Brazilian fans and letting them know that waiting for “Lucifer” season 14 is worth the wait.

Aside from Netflix saving the show from Fox's cancellation, the cast and crew of “Lucifer” have Carl's Jr. to thank for its Netflix renewal as well. The burger franchise posted on its official Twitter page a hilarious photo which featured a script for “Lucifer” but written by Carl's Jr.

Aside from that, Carl's Jr. provided burgers and food to a recent shooting for “Lucifer” season 4. In another photograph posted by Carl's Jr., Joe Henderson, Tom Ellis, and Ildy Modrovich enjoy Carls Jr.'s El Diablo Burger, which is being dubbed as “The Hottest Burger in Town.”
Huge thank you to @CarlsJr who played a massive role in #Lucifer being saved for a season 4. They swung by with the truck to share with our crew. Thank you!! ????????

Lauren German tweets her thanks to Carl's Jr. for the food and giving the show a second lease on life. “Lucifer” season 4 has yet to have an official air date provided considering that the show is still currently in production.
