‘Lucifer’ Season 4 Latest News & Update: Tom Ellis Says Series Will Feature Nudity When It Premieres on Netflix

Lucifer

“Lucifer” Season 4 is coming very soon, and this is the result of the fans’ efforts to save the show from being permanently scrapped after Fox Network canceled it last year. Netflix took over and it announced that it would release the fourth installment of the series and the viewers can expect 10 episodes to drop all at once for continuous viewing.

Now, as “Lucifer” Season 4 is airing under a different home, it was disclosed that the restrictions on what scenes can and what could not air had been loosened up. This means that they can push for more nudities and gore since Netflix is not really tight on these things.

Tom Ellis who is starring as Lucifer Morningstar in “Lucifer” season 4 personally confirmed his nude scenes by hinting about it via his social media. The actor previously posted photos of himself while shaping up for the fantasy drama. In one of his posts, he also uploaded a picture of a cloth that is commonly used by actors when they need to go nude.

The showrunners of “Lucifer” season 4 also talked about these sexy scenes where Tom Ellis will be shown without clothes and most of his body exposed. Ildy Modrovich said they did not want fans to see anything crazy but they wanted Lucifer’s whole backside to be seen, so they are going for it in the fourth installment.

“We didn’t want to see anything crazy, but we wanted to see the ‘back’ of him,” he told TV Line. “After all, everybody has a butt.”

The co-showrunner added, “He’s got a wonderful, wonderful booty, so why not show it?”

Idly also shared that they could not do this before because of the red flags coming from Fox Network’s standards and practices. But now that they are free from such rules, they are taking advantage of this liberty.

Meanwhile, “Lucifer” season 4 has no definite air date yet, but it is expected to arrive soon as filming is done already. It is set to debut on Netflix with the episode called "Everything's Okay."
