ATLANTA and LAS VEGAS, May 09, 2017 -- Today, at its annual Momentum customer conference, Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANH) unveiled Manhattan Active Solutions, the next generation of software and services that gives customers faster access to Manhattan’s latest innovations through an integrated suite of platform-based products that span the commercial continuum. Visit http://www.manh.com/active for more information.
Today’s commercial enterprises are facing unprecedented market pressures. The business environment is changing rapidly, and updating complex, highly-customized enterprise software solutions can be both costly and time consuming. While new software releases that improve both the effectiveness and efficiency of store, warehouse, transportation and inventory management are frequently introduced, adoption of the latest technologies is often slowed by the need for significant capital investment or change management requirements.
The new Manhattan Active Solutions suites address these challenges, with products and services that are always current and automatically include the customer’s latest extensions and modifications, reducing or eliminating both downtime needed for upgrades and additional fees. Manhattan Active Solutions can run in Manhattan’s cloud or in the customer’s choice of a public or private cloud environment. Customers who prefer on-premises deployments can also be accommodated with “always current” technology.
Manhattan Active Solutions includes three solution suites, each designed for seamless interconnection to streamline customer, inventory and execution activities across the enterprise:
- Manhattan Active Omni: The Manhattan Active Omni Solution suite is a first of its kind, omni-channel-as-a-service platform built for the demands of the active enterprise. This new, cloud-native, versionless and fully-extensible solution combines Enterprise Order Management, Point of Sale, Clienteling and Store Inventory and Fulfillment products into one application platform. The Manhattan Active Store modules enable sales across a range of devices and locations, delivering the flexibility today’s omni-channel shopper – and store associate – demands.
- Manhattan Active Supply Chain: Manhattan Active Supply Chain Solution includes the Manhattan Active Distribution and Manhattan Active Transportation suites. New with this release is Manhattan Active WM, a program that offers customers a way to stay current with Manhattan’s latest warehouse management innovations without losing customizations. Manhattan Active WM is available either in the cloud or on premises.
- Manhattan Active Inventory: The Manhattan Active Inventory Solution suite streamlines communication between internal parties and enables continual inventory optimization. The comprehensive solution resides in the cloud and is available as a subscription-based service. It also includes a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Workbench application, which creates detailed demand forecasts and applies changes to those forecasts in near real-time, enabling agile inventory purchasing decisions.
“I’m very proud to introduce Manhattan Active Solutions – our next-generation technology designed to be always current, to run anywhere and to be seamlessly interconnected, enabling the enterprise to adapt to change at a faster pace,” said Eddie Capel, president and chief executive officer of Manhattan Associates. “We believe that with Manhattan as a partner, companies can turn ‘what’s next’ conversations into ‘do it now’ reality.”
