Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have been having a blast spending as much time as they can with their children while they are on self-quarantine.
On her Twitter and Instagram accounts, the first daughter shared tips on how parents can maximize their time with their children while they are not at work. She suggested that parents and kids can try having a room camp out, which is very fun.
Donald Trump’s favorite daughter also praised the teachers for everything that they have done after realizing how difficult their job is now that she’s homeschooling her kids. After the POTUS announced a lockdown in the United States, Ivanka and Kushner’s kids have been banned from going to school until further notice.
Unfortunately, Ivanka and her husband’s happy and easy life amid the coronavirus outbreak did not sit well with “The View” host Meghan McCain.
“I have been upset about their roles in this because they put on hats when they want it. When you are a White House adviser and you want to create policy, you got that hat on. When you want to be a mom at home talking about how to entertain your kids, you got that hat on,” she said on the show.
“It’s incredibly tone-deaf to me if you are Jared or Ivanka right now. I am enraged in a way that I haven’t felt in a very long time about anything. It’s just sort of strange to me when they want to be policy advisers, they’re policy advisers when it’s easy and convenient. When crap’s really going down, you want to put beautiful Instagram photos up, and I, for one, I’m not interested in it,” she added.
Meanwhile, CNN confirmed that Ivanka will continue her work as Trump’s senior advisor after she tested negative for coronavirus. Ivanka previously came into close contact with Australia’s home affairs minister Peter Dutton, who tested positive for coronavirus.
As such, Ivanka was forced to stay at home and to self-quarantine. But since she’s negative for coronavirus, she has officially returned to work.
