Melania Trump was recently mocked for not having anything important to do as the first lady of the United States.
According to Political Flare, it seems the FLOTUS only plans and changes her outfits on a regular basis. In fact, the weird habit has attracted the attention of the publication following Melania’s recent trip to Mar-a-Lago.
Donald Trump’s wife usually travels from Washington to Mar-a-Lago and back for less than three hours via Air Force One. But every time she would get off the plane, she would be photographed wearing an entirely different outfit.
For instance, one photo of the first lady shows her wearing a black turtle neck top when she left the White House with her husband and son. Hours later, the FLOTUS is photographed wearing a white dress with floral embroidery when she arrived in Florida.
Trump and Barron didn’t change their clothes during the two-and-a-half-hour trip, but the first lady did. As such, the publication couldn’t help but think that the first lady doesn’t have important things to do.
But according to The Washington Post, the FLOTUS’s daily schedule is actually pretty hectic. She usually wakes up at 5:30 a.m., which is also the same time that her husband wakes up.
The first thing that Melania does is prepares her 13-year-old son for school. After Barron’s school ends, the first lady is also the one that picks him up.
After doing her errands, the FLOTUS exercises to maintain her slender frame. Her home workouts include ankle weights, low-impact exercises, and Pilates. Melania also plays tennis regularly.
As the first lady of the United States, Melania created the Be Best initiative, which is rumored to have been inspired by Michelle Obama’s previous statement: “be better.”
It is also the FLOTUS’s job to support her husband, but Melania and the POTUS don’t always share the same stand on certain issues. The first lady just announced that she will also be more involved in her husband’s re-election by hosting two fundraisers for the POTUS and the Republican party.
