Michael Schumacher’s family is finally opening up about the F1 legend’s condition but the information will not be divulged through interviews but via a documentary. The new film will tell the story of the greatest Formula One driver and this means that his ski accident will be covered as well.
Many fans would like to know how Schumacher is doing - whether he has already recovered from his freak skiing accident in 2013 or not. However, his family continued to keep the fans in the dark as they refused to say anything about it. No one has seen the former F1 champ except for few trusted friends and family and the fans have voiced out their disappointments since they feel that they should know his situation as they have supported Schumi since the beginning.
According to Deadline, the documentary simply titled “Schumacher” will finally give the fans a glimpse of how Michael is living until now. The publication reported that the film will be handled by German filmmakers Michael Wech and Hanns-Bruno Kammertöns with Rocket Science serving as its executive producer.
The film will be as accurate as it can be as it was revealed that Michael Schumacher’s family approved the documentary and they provided the major details so that the directors will be able to depict Schumi’s life exactly the way it is. It was added that the film is timely as it has been 25 years since the F1 driver scored his first world championship win.
Now, given that the fans worldwide are curious about Schumacher’s health, the documentary is expected to become a hit as people look forward to knowing how he is right now. The documentary may also debunk wrong speculations about Schumi so it is beneficial for the family to have agreed to make the film.
Meanwhile, the Michael Schumacher documentary is set to be released in December, as per Variety. For international viewing, movie outfits and production companies will vie to get the rights for its release.
