CAMARILLO, Calif., April 25, 2017 -- Mixtina recently launched a new formula of its multi-cultural hair care line of products featuring nourishing and “good for you” ingredients. The new product line which includes a high quality sulfate free shampoo and leave in conditioner, offer a natural hair care option for curly hair of all kinds.
Formed in 2014, Mixtina’s unique brand of hair care products are free of parabens and phthalates. The inclusion of Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Lemon Peel and Sugar Cane in Mixtina’s shampoos and conditioners gives the hair care collection its healthy consistency. Mixtina targets the specific needs of multi-cultural hair and promises to smooth and soften hair, prevent frizzing by blocking humidity, define curls, and nourish the scalp without stripping the scalp’s essential natural oils.
“Multi-cultural hair products have for the most part been ignored by the big hair care companies,” said Hope Farley, Founder of Mixtina. “Mixed hair, biracial hair, multicultural hair -- whatever term you like to use -- our customers find that these products are great for natural African American hair, Mediterranean hair, Latina hair, and all kinds of curls!”

About Mixtina
Mixtina was created when the parents of a little girl who had an African American mother and a father of Greek and Irish descent realized that there were no hair care products designed for her multi-racial curly hair. Her beautiful curly hair was a wonderful combination of both heritages but it was a challenge to keep those vibrant curls bouncy and was a nightmare even to comb. Popular shampoos, most containing sulfates, left the little girl’s delicate waves limp and stripped of its essential oils. Regular conditioners didn’t have any effect, and leave-in conditioners were too heavy. So they created Mixtina and specifically formulated it for different curly hair types. Mixtina’s products have changed their daughter’s hair and her life. Now her hair has beautiful, vibrant curls and there’s no more hours of tears and screaming trying to comb it.
