‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 10, entitled “Ringmaster Keifth,” is set to follow Cameron as he attempts to host a New Year’s Day feast for his family to make up for the catastrophic Thanksgiving dinner. When things go wrong once more, Mitch accidentally brings in Cam’s ex-boyfriend Keifth to save the day.
The synopsis for “Ringmaster Keifth” posted on TV Guide reads, “Cam (Eric Stonestreet) tries to make amends for his Thanksgiving disaster by cooking a New Year's Day feast for the family, but when this event also goes downhill, the white knight summoned by Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) turns out to be his husband's ex-boyfriend.
“Meanwhile, Phil (Ty Burrell) is thrown for a loop when his father's new girlfriend is his childhood babysitter; and Jay (Ed O’Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) discuss Joe's (Jeremy Maguire) future in case something happens to one or both of them.”
Despite Cam’s good intentions with setting things right with the entire family following the Thanksgiving catastrophe, things won’t go as smoothly as planned as his New Year’s Day feast also turns sour. Cam will have to deal with one trouble after another. However, when his husband brings in someone to help, Cam will end up meeting his ex-boyfriend once more.
According to Fab Newz, Cam is set to surprise the entire family with a New Year feast but Mitchell will end up rescuing his spouse by using a concierge gift card he received as a Christmas gift to pay for the bills acquired for the meal. It is then revealed that the concierge is Cam’s ex-boyfriend Kiefth (Kelsey Grammer), a former circus master. The incoming episode will address Cam and Kiefth’s past relationship as well as their eventual split, considering that Kiefth left without saying goodbye.
‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 10, entitled “Ringmaster Keifth," is scheduled to air on ABC on January 4, 2017. It was directed by Jim Hensz and written by Vali Chandrasekaran. It will be followed by episode 11, titled "Sarge & Pea," scheduled for January 11.
