Tomura Shigaraki has major decisions to make being the League of Villains leader. As for “My Hero Academia” chapter 224, one of the biggest mysteries is whether or not All For One’s successor will accept Rikiya Yotsubashi a.k.a. ReDestro’s offer. That would mean the League of Villains will fall under the leadership of the re-established Meta Liberation Army.
The three biggest considerations that Tomura have coming in to “My Hero Academia” chapter 224 include Giran’s safety, Meta Liberation Army’s potential attack, and the threat that the top six heroes could be sent to them. At least, these are the very obvious ones. The upcoming chapters might also introduce Tomura’s other plans to highlight his leadership skills leading to Gigantomachia’s submission.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 224 will pick up from ReDestro offering Tomura to submit the entire League of Villains' loyalty to the Meta Liberation Army. ReDestro wants the League and its member to surrender to the Army’s influence so they could boost the infamous organization’s public image and forward their equally twisted agenda that is removing all and any regulation in using Quirks.
Following ReDestro’s threats and show-of-power antics in chapter 223, it would seem that the League of Villains is easily at a disadvantage. The Meta Liberation Army claimed they have 116,516 fighters ready to attack anytime while Destro’s follower also threatened they can lead the six strongest heroes to exactly where the villains are located. Additionally, they have been torturing Giran for a while now. Are these enough to make the villains surrender in “My Hero Academia” chapter 224?
It is still quite hard to predict how Tomura would decide in “My Hero Academia” chapter 224. But, as mentioned, he does not seem bothered by ReDestro’s taunts. On the other hand, he also has other things to worry about such as convincing Gigantomachia that he is a worthy successor to All For One. In this case, Tomura might end up upholding the league’s dignity by planning to outsmart the Meta Liberation Army leading to earning Gigantomachia’s respect. The next chapter is expected to be released on Monday, April 15.
