A lot of fans are absolutely losing their minds in looking forward to “My Hero Academia” Season 4 with the anime originally set to return in Spring 2019. However, there is a possibility that it might be pushed back due to another anime taking up its spot. The anime is called “MIX” and for those who have never heard of it, they are not alone.
“My Hero Academia” Season 4 is the most highly anticipated anime that is scheduled to come back next year. However, it isn’t the only anime that has been given a slot in the same period. The sports manga called “MIX” has also been greenlit and it seems that the Japanese network YTV might be in a bind because of it.
This would appear to be because of the April 2019 premiere of the “MIX” anime, which would place it in direct competition with “My Hero Academia” Season 4. Now, anyone who knows anything about anime might think that “My Hero Academia” makes sense as the choice for a primetime slot. However, it was confirmed that “MIX” will actually replace its timeslot.
With this being the case, there have been speculations that YTV will not be able to retain the broadcasting rights to “My Hero Academia” Season 4. If another network takes over the broadcasting of the anime, the premiere of the new season might actually be pushed back to the Summer of 2019. If worse comes to worst, it might even come out in the Fall. All because YTV gave its timeslot to “MIX.”
It’s difficult to fathom why anyone who risk delaying “My Hero Academia” Season 4 for a new anime, even with one with the pedigree of “MIX.” Even so, fans might want to brace themselves for the news of the show’s premiere date getting pushed back.
