“NBA 2K20” is the upcoming latest installment to the long-running basketball video game simulator. The game is already scheduled for release later this year and fans can expect a lot of things from the game. For starters, there are going to be some slight graphical upgrades compared to the last game. What’s more, there are still going to be a ton of microtransactions for avid players to look forward to.
As Forbes notes, there’s no reason for “NBA 2K20” to deviate from past games in terms of the patterns that it adheres to. It will still be an excellent sports simulator and there will likely be some new features that will keep players interested. The publisher even listed some of the things that it would like to see in the upcoming game.
Suffice it to say, however, “NBA 2K20” will also be riddled to the eyeballs with microtransactions. Much of this will revolve around cosmetics, of course, but the developers could add some new things for players to spend their money on. It’s safe to say that this will not stop the more casual gamers who are also sports fans from rocketing this title to the top of the charts.
For the most part, though, fans can expect that the “My Career” aspect of “NBA 2K20” is going to be of high quality. It might be worth anticipating some new themes injected into the feature and will likely put more emphasis on the online features. Those who would like to micromanage their play through can also expect great things from this title.
For those who don’t like games with a lot of microtransactions, “NBA 2K20” certainly will not be a title that they will want to buy. When it hits the market around August of this year, at the earliest, it will still sell quite well.
