“NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16 will revolve around Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan). She faces an immense threat after they learned that a terrorist she used to track down is actually alive.
The official synopsis of “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16 indicates that the entire installment will be about Hannah and her unfinished business with a terrorist named Victor Zelko (Joseph Gatt). The baddie used to be Hannah's subject in a former mission she handled with old partner Liam (Rob Benedict). She and her former team thought that Zelko is dead but the episode this week revealed they thought wrong.
Zelko is not only live he is also going after Hannah out of revenge in “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16. This week's episode showed that the operations to catch Zelko involved his family so it is not surprising that the threat on Hannah extends to her family. Pride (Scott Bakula) and the rest of the team will place them under protective custody while also trying to get the upper hand versus Zelko.
Hannah is the newest addition to the team and having an arc that covers up to three episodes is just what the viewers need to know the character better. Prior to “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16, the arc was introduced last week when Liam appeared. This week, Hannah and the team fought the hitman Norman Wong who had files and a video of the Zelko raid that implicated Hannah to the execution of his family.
Thanks to Pride, the team won over Wong and Hannah's name was ultimately cleared. However, she now faces the wrath of Zelko in “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16.
This is expected to be another wild chase but Hannah and the team will see to it that Zelko will no longer pose any threat after this ordeal. “NCIS: New Orleans” season 5 episode 16 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
