Calbee is now offering a moist product called “Nure Jaga“, which translates to “Wet Potato“.
The new chips are moist, as the name implies, and are inspired by "Nure Senbei," a sort of moist senbei or "rice cracker" sold by a variety of Japanese confectioneries.
Calbee's wet potato chips were previously only available at the company's Calbee Plus stores, which offer their most inventive items, but as of April, they're now available at 7-Eleven locations countrywide.
However, not all retailers carry them, and some have already sold out.
