Nike opened a new retail concept shop in Seoul, South Korea, showcasing the new “Nike Style,” which remixes sports retail culture expression that blurs the line between physical and digital experiences.
Nike said this new idea will feature gender-agnostic zones for fleece, shirts, footwear, and accessories, as well as other "style-led" and regionally curated collections, in the city's Hongdae neighborhood, which is renowned for its art, music, and fashion scene.
According to Nike, one of the main focuses of the new Style store is how it provides distinctive digital-physical venues for customers to express their style together. The store will have a studio where local artists, product specialists, and customers may make material for their own social media channels with movable backgrounds.
The store's QR codes will provide augmented reality experiences relating to new product development and even the nearby art exhibits. For Nike members, the Style door offers additional experiences like Nike by You workshops and SNKRS Lounge events.
Nike Style is expected to become more popular both domestically and abroad. In the fall of 2022, a second Nike Style door will open in Shanghai. The Nike Style concept will eventually spread to other nations after opening its doors initially in China and Korea, according to the business.
