Nintendo Switch is one of the popular gaming consoles today. Millions of people around the world own this gadget, so Nintendo makes sure to keep it interesting to play not only by releasing accessories and updates but by developing many games as well.
As the new year 2021 arrived, an insider leaked some details of what is in store for Nintendo Switch users. The leaker just revealed that video games are currently being developed for the console, and they are coming this year!
New games for the console
While Japanese consumer electronics and video game company has been keeping silent and not really releasing any update about its plans and projects for the Nintendo Switch, there are insiders who spill its secrets. Thus, it is possible the games that are set to be launched for the console have already been leaked and made known to the gamers.
The leaker posted the details via Twitter, and many believed that the info is true. This is because this is not the first time that this person has revealed unannounced news about Nintendo. The important thing is the fact that the info the leaker shared in the past turned out to be accurate.
This time, in a new tweet the past weekend, he shared images of four Nintendo franchises, and those who saw the tweet assumed these are set to come to Nintendo Switch this year. It was only captioned “Feliz 2021” since the leaker appeared to be a Portuguese Bazilian based on his handle name and language.
In any case, PH Brazil tweeted on Jan. 1 the images of “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2,” “Fire Emblem,” “Metroid,” and “Splatoon.” It was suggested that the versions in the last two mentioned games that will be coming to Nintendo Switch are “Metroid Prime 4” and “Splatoon 3.”
“Metroid Prime” leaked release window
Now, “Metroid Prime 4” has yet to be released, even if some gamers already placed advanced orders as early as 2017. It’s developer, Retro Studios, hasn’t mentioned a release date yet despite the game being announced three years ago.
But it seems “Metroid Prime 4” for Nintendo Switch is coming in two years' time because someone received a notice when it was supposed to be released. JP’s SwitchMania shared a screenshot of a notice he got from Amazon, and it was stated that the estimated date for its launch on Nintendo Switch is on Jan. 2, 2023.
