“One Piece” is a series that loves to surprise its readers with twists and turns with regards to the story and the characters. Seemingly inconsequential figures can be revealed to be royalty or powerful symbols. This is why there have been rumblings about the new thief friend that Zoro has made in “One Piece” Chapter 930 being Kozuki Oden, the former Shogun of Wano in disguise.
For context, Kinemon has already said that Oden was killed during the uprising, which is why Orochi is now Shogun of Wano. However, this would not be the first time that the manga pulls the rug right from under the readers by revealing that someone is actually alive after being thought of as dead. “One Piece” Chapter 930 will feature more of the thief with Zoro going to his hideout, so more clues might be dropped then.
If this does end up being the case and Oden is alive, it would be a monumental development in “One Piece” Chapter 930. The former shogun was once a highly respected figure during his reign, with the ruler earning the admiration of the world government and the greatest pirates who ever lived. His continued survival would also have a huge impact on the plans that the pirate alliance has in dealing with Kaido.
On that note, it’s unlikely for such a revelation to be made in “One Piece” Chapter 930. It’s too early for something like that and Eiichiro Oda has a habit of keeping things like this under wraps until well into the story.
Readers won’t have to wait too long to be able to read “One Piece” Chapter 930, though. The chapter will be dropping on Jan. 18. It might have been delayed, but segments from this manga are always worth waiting for, and the next one might be quite significant.
