Everything will finally come to a head in “One Piece” Episode 866 with the Cake Island arc getting one step closer to ending. In the upcoming episode, Luffy will still be fighting Katakuri but will he finally beat him by the end of it? As absurd as it may seem, the survival of the entire Straw Pirate crew will also hinge on Sanji’s baking skills and his ability to decorate a cake.
While the rest of the gang on the Sunny are holding off the attacks of Big Mom, Sanji will be on the way in “One Piece” Episode 866 to deliver the cake that she is looking for. As the preview clip below shows, the crew’s resident cook is busy putting on the finishing touches on what promises to be a magnificent pastry. More than anything else, it will be this that will help the crew survive the yonko’s wrath.
This is actually a really good example of how the anime does a great job of presenting alternative paths in solving problems. Not everything needs to be resolved with Luffy beating someone to a pulp with his awesome powers. On that note, there should be no reason why this can’t be the case from time to time, with his fight against Katakuri in “One Piece” Episode 866 being a good example.
In the last episode, Luffy was finally getting the hang of using his haki in order to see a few seconds into the future. In “One Piece” Episode 866, fans are expecting to finally win against Katakuri and end the fight that has been dragging out for a long time. Will this actually happen?
Viewers will simply have to stay tuned on Dec. 23 to find out for themselves. “One Piece” Episode 866 should provide some excellent entertainment, at the very least.
