Saitama might be the most powerful hero in the “One Punch Man” universe, but this does not mean that he is jumping in to take care of every single problem. In the case of Garou, for example, the bald hero will mostly be absent. The hunt for this god-level threat of a criminal will be left up to his former master, Bang or Silver Fang in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 3. So, why is this the case?
As the Inquistr notes, the Human Monster will be up to all kinds of mischief in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 3. He will be avoiding the S-Class heroes, for the moment, and will be working his way up by attacking A-Class names first. As for the hero organization, the top members will show some disdain for actually discussing Garou.
Only by the end of the meeting in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 3 will the higher-ups decide to send Bang after him. If he fails, other S-Class heroes will follow. This should make the episode quite exciting, especially to those who have read the manga and understand just how frightening this villain can be.
With this being the case, why is Saitama staying out of it? Simply put, he is not centrally involved in this arc. As “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 3 will likely show, the matter of Garou will only peripherally affect Saitama. Instead, he will be a nuisance to all other heroes, especially to Bang. Even with the emergence of all kinds of monsters, much of the attention will still be on the one that resembles a human.
Fans will see this for themselves when they watch “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 3, which aired on April 23. Suffice it to say, this is not going to be an episode to miss.
