“We are launching this new scholarship essay contest simply to help students save money on tuition,” said Lori Torres, CEO and Founder at Parcel Pending. “We are excited to launch this program today, which was created to reward individuals that are able to stay abreast of consumer trends and recognize the impacts these behaviors have on package management.”
The scholarship is open to all U.S. undergraduate students at an acredited 4-year college or university. The recipient will be selected based on a 800-word essay, which demonstrates an understanding of the changing economics of online shopping and its effect on the parcel delivery business, including multifamily communities.
