Pocophone F2 is the latest offering from Xiaomi’s sub-brand units. The first Poco that the Chinese tech company released previously was a huge success and now the second edition is coming with much better features and impressive upgrades.
At its launch in 2018, the Poco F1 was listed as the cheapest smartphone fitted with Snapdragon 845. It was said that no other mobile phone units come close to the newly introduced gadget and until now, it remained unbeatable with its affordable price and neat features that can rival other expensive devices.
Now, with Pocophone F2, the expectations are even higher as any improvements that it will have will definitely be great upgrades. To get an idea of what the new Xiaomi Poco phone has to offer, here are the specs and features as per India Today.
Specifications
Pocophone F2 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855, the same chipset that is used in Samsung S10 units and OnePlus 7 series. Poco F2 units will come in two variants - the 8GB and 128GB RAM of internal storage. Other variants with bigger storage may also be released later like the 8GB RAM + 256GB RAM storage.
Camera
Pocophone F2 will come with a pop-up camera similar to Vivo 10 and Oppo F11 Pro. It is fitted with three cameras where the primary is 48MP, secondary 8MP and the third is 13 MP sensor. The pop-up camera is for selfie shots on the front.
Design, Display and Release Date
Pocophone F2 measures 6.39 inches with full HD display and screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Slim bezels for a sleek look and it will run on MIUI 10 for Android 9 Pie. The expected release date for Poco F2 is in May in India and it may be sold for Rs. 26,990.
