The mid-season finale of “Power Book II: Ghost” episode 6 aired last weekend. The episode was the fifth and titled “The Gift of the Magi.”
In the story, Tariq turns 18, and a surprising twist occurred. Ghost’s son has been busy in school and in his illegal business and it turned out that something is going on in the courts that he doesn’t know about.
Recap
As posted on TV Line, the “Power Book II: Ghost” season 5 showed Tasha’s lawyer Davis Maclean and Cooper Saxe teaming up to free up Tariq’s mother. They will try to prove in court that she was not the one who killed her husband because someone else did.
Their plan will be troublesome for Tariq since he is the real shooter and it gets more interesting because he can be in court and tried as an adult since he just reached the legal age to be considered as an adult in the law. This scheme could break Tasha’s heart who tried to protect her son by taking the blame.
Tariq is clueless about all these since he is not busy and more focused on trying to earn Monet’s trust that he is a loyal business partner. But then on this surprise birthday party, he sort of confessed about his crime to Riley, Saxe’s niece, when he started to ramble about Ghost’s shooting incident after being drugged.
What to expect and release date
Now, the cliffhanger just got very interesting so fans could not wait for the upcoming “Power Book II: Ghost” episode 6. Apparently, the story will continue in this chapter and Tariq could really be in big trouble if his ramblings ever reach Saxe.
Also, Tasha may learn about her lawyer’s plans as they go along with the case proceedings. It is likely that she would not agree to the strategy on how her lawyer will get her out of jail. Money may also get involved in Tariq’s case not just in the business aspect.
As for the “Power Book II: Ghost” episode 6 release date, this is uncertain yet because the remaining episodes are still being filmed as per The Sun. If there will be no interruptions due to the risks of COVID-19, the second half of this series may be returning soon.
