Prada S.p.A and Adidas AG have joined forces to create and introduce a unique line of soccer shoes and boots. The companies unveiled their high-end soccer cleats collection that may be a little too classy for a football match.
Prada and Adidas's football collection was described as "pitch perfect," and with their release, the Italian luxury fashion house and the German athletic apparel and footwear label are redefining lavishness by launching three luxury boot silhouettes made especially for soccer which is often referred to as "football" as well. At any rate, Paulo Dybala, an Argentine professional footballer who is also one of Adidas' endorsers, said that collaboration may start something new.
"In other sports, you see this combination of fashion brands and sports brands, but I think this could be the start of something different, something unique, both in fashion and in football," he told Highsnobiety. "I think this collaboration is going to make people very curious. Everyone will want to try this boot to see how it feels, to see whether it is simply a marketing exercise or whether it can really work. Try it, you won't regret it."
Adidas and Prada dropped three shoe models, and these are the Predator Accuracy, X Crazyfast, and Copa Pure. Sneaker News reported that all of these, regardless of the model, are set to be sold for $500.
The soccer shoe collection is for both men and women but fans must grab their pair as soon as their release because each style is only available in limited quantities. They can be purchased via Adidas Confirmed App and Prada's own online store. Customers can also find them in select flagship stores of the said labels.
The Prada x Adidas soccer collection is already on sale via Adidas Confirmed App and coming to Prada outlets on or before Thursday, May 25.
