‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7, Episode 5 Spoilers: “Along Comes Mary” Explores Dr. Elliot Rollins’ Real Identity; Jenna Linked to Uber A?

‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 5, entitled “Along Comes Mary”, explores the mystery behind Dr. Elliot Rollins revealed to be a man named Archer Dunhill. The character is possibly alive and linked to Jenna’s return to town.

The synopsis posted on Carter Matt stated, “Jenna returns to Rosewood and befriends another one of the Liars’ enemies, making her the PLL’s number one suspect for Uber A. In order to leave the psychiatric hospital, Ali must be released into the care of a relative, leaving her under the suspicious watch of Mary Drake. Spencer enlists Hanna’s help to search for Caleb as he’s missing in action. Aria and Emily stumble upon a secret apartment they hope will lead them to more answers.”

The incoming episode is set to explore the real identity of Dr. Elliot Rollins (Huw Collins) – a man revealed to be a certain Archer Dunhill. The promo opened with Alison (Sasha Pieterse) exclaiming, “Nothing he told me was true. What his name was, where he was from…” The Liars then find out that Rollin’s real name is Archer.

The scene cuts to Ali yelling at Jenna (Tammin Sursok), “The next time you call Archer, tell him I said to go to hell!” Jenna responds, “Maybe he’s already there.” The girls are then seen in a flashback burying a mysterious body supposedly Rollins’.

Ali then learns that Rollins a.k.a. Archer was last seen in Baltimore, apparently alive. The last remaining scenes in the promo suggested that one of the girls will be met with an unexpected proposal.

According to International Business Times, Jenna’s sudden return to town will not be what it seems. Although she claimed that she was back for her stepbrother Toby’s (Keegan Allen) engagement to Yvonne (Kara Royster), it seemed likely that she was lying to hide her true purpose. It was speculated that she would be making a correspondence with Archer.

Meanwhile, Ali is having a hard time escaping the clutches of the suspicious Mary Drake (Andrea Parker), who was left to watch over her. Her true intentions are yet to be revealed.

Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) also continues to remain missing and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) teams up with Hanna (Ashley Benson) to find him. Aria (Lucy Hale) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) also find themselves in an apartment that may provide them more answers about their tormentor.

‘Pretty Little Liars’ is a mystery-thriller and teen drama based on the book series of the same name authored by Sara Shepard. It follows the lives of a clique stalked and threatened by a mysterious antagonist. Episode 5, entitled “Along Comes Mary”, is scheduled to air on July 19, 2016.
