BOSTON, Nov. 21, 2016 -- Promoboxx, a SaaS marketing platform that aligns brands and their retailers, today announced that they will be waiving all fees for local digital advertising placed by retailers from November 21-26, 2016 in celebration of Small Business Saturday. Promoboxx is the only SaaS marketing platform that empowers national brands to connect and align with their local retailers to drive revenue.
Promoboxx Local Ads extends brands’ sophisticated creative, targeting, and media mix to their local retailers, attracting nearby customers on mobile devices across Facebook, Instagram, mobile display, ultimately driving them in store to make a purchase. Armed with professional content from the brands they sell, thousands of local retailers (typically time-strapped business owners without marketing expertise) are able to contribute their own advertising dollars towards digital ads with this content.
Small Business Saturday, which last year brought out 95 million consumers and generated over $16.2 billion to small businesses, underscores the importance of supporting the small, unique brick and mortars that make local communities vibrant.
Promoboxx CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Carcio comments, “Since our founding, Promoboxx has always supported the small business and advocated for making digital marketing simple and achievable to local business owners. Small Business Saturday is especially important given that we’re a Boston-based company and the movement started just south of our HQ in Roslindale Village, MA. Given the larger conversation in the ad industry surrounding media transparency, we at Promoboxx have incorporated 100% Transparent Pricing messaging throughout the platform. We believe in retailers and will fight for their success, which means not gouging them with high markups and undisclosed ad management fees. Waiving ad fees in celebration of Small Business Saturday is one way we can draw more attention to this important issue and let local retailers across the nation know that we have their backs.”
Over the past year, Promoboxx has run more than 1,700 Local Ads campaigns for retailers, generating over 85 million local customer views. More than 60% of retailers are repeat customers, funding Local Ads multiple times. Promoboxx normally collects a transparent management fee that is 10% of the retailer’s ad spend, covering credit card processing as well as ads technology and optimization efforts. Promoboxx is waiving these fees entirely to support local businesses from November 21-26.
