Chris Evans is the latest famous person to declare his love for the animated show co-created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. Does this mean he would suit up as Captain America once more for a cameo in “Rick and Morty” season 4?
The actor took to Twitter on Tuesday to give the show a shout out. “There isn’t another show on television like @RickandMorty. It’s a true original. And it’s awesome,” he wrote. His post has since been liked over 158,000 times and retweeted by more than 23,000 followers as of this writing. Despite the tweet going viral, there is no assurance that it could actually lead to him being in “Rick and Morty” season 4 as Captain America.

There will be so many requirements for the superhero character to cross over to the Adult Swim fence that it might not be worth the trouble. So, unfortunately, there is a very slim chance to see Captain America on “Rick and Morty” season 4. Added to that, remember that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Steve Rogers has officially retired in “Avengers: Endgame.”
On the other hand, it is not impossible for Evans to have a cameo role in “Rick and Morty” season 4 maybe even as himself. Recently, Roiland and Harmon have been very gracious in inviting popular people who are known fans of the show to join the fourth season.
Roiland and Harmon made a public invitation to “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe to join them for some “Rick and Morty” season 4 brainstorming session. Meanwhile, Harmon also recently declared they will be writing an entire episode dedicated to Kanye West who have tweeted praises for the series multiple times before.
Adult Swim has finally announced a release date for the fourth season after more than a year since its renewal. “Rick and Morty” season 4 will premiere in November on Adult Swim and will have 70 episodes.
