The online concert will be taking place on January 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. KST through the Naver Beyond Live platform and the agency revealed its lineup of acts through a video teaser. Many of the company’s artists will be performing at the online event: DJs Raiden, GINJO, and IMLAY, H.O.T.’s Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Baekhyun and Kai, Red Velvet, NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, and SuperM.

NCT’s Taeyong will not be participating as he is currently receiving treatment for a relapsed herniated disc.
The upcoming online event follows the online fan meeting of TVXQ that took place on December 26, and NCT’s NCT: RESONANCE [Global Wave] that were also streamed through the Beyond Live platform. This will be taking place a few days before EXO member Baekhyun would be holding his own online concert on Beyond Live titled “Light” on January 3.
Previously, the agency released a statement addressing the controversy surrounding the music video for aespa’s debut song, “Black Mamba.” This was after many noticed that there were some scenes in the music video that was similar to the works of German visual artist Timo Helgert and the virtual girl group K/DA. SM Entertainment announced that they had spoken to the artists involved and explained their vision for their girl group. The agency also confirmed that the artists involved did not object to the similar scenes that were shown in the music video.
Aespa is the newest group of SM Entertainment, having made their debut back in November.
