The "Outlander" stars know no bounds to their charm as Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe get into a hilarious exchange of tweets with the multi-award winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, best known for his compositions in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and Disney's “Moana,” and especially for creating “Hamilton,” tweeted photos about his wife Vanessa Nadal's obsession with the “Outlander” series.
Every time we pass a damn henge my wife tries to Outlander her way to Jamie-land, give it up lady pic.twitter.com/6Hau4bG5c6

The photo shows his wife hugging a stone wall with Miranda lamenting Nadal's desire to time travel through the henges similar to how Balfe's character in “Outlander” does as well. It seems Miranda and his wife are enjoying a holiday on the British Isles, with Miranda even posing for pictures of his new hat.

Heughan and Balfe, who play the beloved Jamie and Claire Fraser on the Starz period drama, shot back with appreciation for the composer's wife. Heughan commented about Miranda's wife's good taste, and Balfe offered to sell Jamie Fraser to Miranda and Nadal in exchange for “Hamilton” tickets.

Ever the good sport, Miranda replied to both “Outlander” stars. The composer challenged Sam Heughan to a comedic duel for implying interest in his wife, realizing how Balfe's tweet means that he was now involved in a wife swap.

Even the official Starz “Outlander” Twitter page got in on the action.
Well, she can't throw away her shot! Just be careful, there's no telling how far into the past she'll go. (Sorry, we'll stop now.)

To top off the hilarity, Miranda tweeted two more photos of Nadal with the caption “Oh no it WORKED.”

Fans of Lin-Manuel Miranda can look forward to the composer co-starring in Disney's upcoming “Mary Poppins Returns,” expected to release on Dec. 25. Miranda will be playing the role of Jack, a street lamplighter. Emily Blunt will be starring as the titular Mary Poppins.
For fans of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, the pair will return to grace the screen in November when “Outlander” season 4 is set to air its premiere episode.
