Samsung's Galaxy S24 Ultra is set to receive a significant camera update next month. The update will address HDR, white balance, overexposure, over-processing, and video magnification, enhancing the phone's already impressive camera capabilities and satisfying current and future users.
Samsung Prepares Major Camera Update for Galaxy S24 Ultra, Enhancing HDR, White Balance, and More
The Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera is already exceptional, and Samsung is strongly believed to be able to further optimize the camera hardware to unleash its full potential. With a series of camera enhancement updates since its launch earlier this year and another one on the way next month, the future looks promising for the Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera capabilities.
According to reports, this update will resolve numerous minor camera-related issues on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Ice Universe, a trusted source in the tech community, has revealed that Samsung is gearing up to roll out a significant software update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra next month. This update is set to enhance the camera, addressing issues such as HDR, white balance, overexposure, over-processing, and video magnification. If these reports are accurate, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will become an even more appealing choice for potential buyers and a source of enhanced satisfaction for existing users.
The tipster also disclosed that Samsung has not enhanced the image quality of shots acquired using the Galaxy S24 Ultra at zoom levels exceeding 10x, regardless of whether they were taken in normal or night mode.
Currently, Samsung's hybrid zoom is exceptional for zoom levels of up to 10x; however, the algorithms experience difficulty when zoom levels exceed 10x. The South Korean company hopes to enhance that aspect of its flagship phone in the months ahead.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Features New 50MP Camera with 5x Optical Zoom; Galaxy S25 Ultra Rumored to Bring Major Upgrades
According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra was equipped with a 50MP camera sensor that Samsung had never used and a 5x optical zoom lens. This camera replaced the 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical magnification in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Extensive testing has evidenced that the super telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is as good as or better than the super telephoto camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, even though it is a 5x optical zoom lens.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to bring significant enhancements from Samsung in the upcoming year. The phone is rumored to feature a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. This anticipation is sure to excite tech enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.
