Because the Unpacked event marked the debut of several significant products, attention has shifted from the hardware launch event to the forthcoming Galaxy S25 lineup and what we can anticipate from the series.
It appears that Samsung prioritizes the smartphone's design, as previous rumors suggested that rounded edges would be one of the features included in this iteration. A recent leak has provided information regarding additional design changes that may be implemented with the S25 Ultra, WCCFTECH reported.
Several significant design modifications and ergonomic enhancements will be included in Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra.
After the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6 were officially released to the public a week ago, customers are looking forward to the future S25 suite of products. Recently, the intensity of the rumor mill has increased noticeably, which suggests that a redesign of the S25 Ultra is anticipated.
Because of its more angular edges and flatter display, the S24 Ultra has received customer complaints that it is difficult to handle. This could be a solution to these problems. As part of its commitment to ensuring that users are aware that their feedback is being taken into consideration, Samsung intends to modify this component of the future S series.
A number of users have voiced their displeasure with the S24 Ultra's angular frame, which makes it more difficult to hold. According to the most recent rumors, Samsung has been keeping a close eye on the problems, and it appears the company will make these modifications for the S25 Ultra.
Previously, Ice Universe, a well-known source of information, had claimed that the S24 Ultra's sharper edges would finally be replaced with rounded corners. Recently, Ice Universe has provided additional information regarding this matter.
Based on the information that has been leaked, the S25 Ultra will be designed with an asymmetrical frame to improve its ergonomics and make it simpler to hold for an extended amount of time. When compared to the front panel, which is flat and has a thinner side frame, the back panel has a more rounded shape. Compared to its predecessor, the center frame is comparatively slimmer and has smaller hinges. This makes it more pleasant to grip and gives the impression of being narrower.
It has been reported that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a width of 8.4 millimeters, whereas the previous edition had a thickness of 8.6 millimeters due to its thickness. Previous sources also stated that the business's decision to go with a more compact design for the S25 Ultra would not affect the camera sensors and would continue to provide the same features and resolution that the company had intended for the model.
Through the implementation of these complex elements, Samsung would not only improve the visual appearance of the smartphone, but it would also alleviate the unhappiness that users had with the predecessor, which gave the impression of being more significant than it was and was criticized for being an unpleasant experience in terms of grip. Even though there is still time for the smartphone to be released, consumers are looking forward to the enhancements that are projected to be made to the Galaxy S25 Ultra's design and the improvements that will be made to the back camera.
