The wait for the 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 2018 is almost over for consumers in the U.K. EE has announced that they are now accepting pre-orders for the 4G smartwatch, and it is available on a 24-month plan for only £20 per month. This comes with unlimited data and a 1 GB data boost added to the current smartphone data allowance.
“Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 4G is the first 4G smartwatch for Android customers which is brought to life by EE’s advanced 4G network. Exclusively available on EE, for the first time Samsung customers can now leave their smartphone at home and still take calls and messages using the same number when going for a run or popping out to the shops,” EE Director of Devices, Products & Partnerships Sharon Meadows said in a statement.
Aside from 4G connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 2018 comes equipped with an Exynos 9110 1.15GHz dual-core processor, and 4 GB of internal memory. The watch has an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyro sensor, a heart rate sensor, and an ambient light sensor as well. The Bluetooth model has 768MB of RAM, while the LTE variant has 1.5 GB of RAM.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 2018 comes in two sizes, 46mm and 42mm. The 46mm watch has a 1.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 360 x 360, while the 42mm model has a 1.2-inch screen.
