The new foldable phones from Samsung are not anticipated to be released until July or August. A seasoned leaker has now unveiled the complete design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Renders Leaked
SmartPrix and Steve “OnLeaks” Hemmerstoffer have published Galaxy Z Fold 6 renderings. The images depict a foldable phone whose margins and corners are squared off.
When unfolded, the device is said to measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm. In comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, its dimensions are notably wider and marginally shorter at 154.94 x 129.8 x 6mm.
The cover screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will likely be wider as well, as suggested by the foldable design of the device. This would be a welcome departure from the previous Fold devices' narrow and towering displays.
Additionally, the images provide insight into significant features such as volume controls and a power button, which likely functions as a biometric scan on the right side, speakers at the top and bottom, and a USB-C port at the bottom.
The cover screen also has a punch-hole perforation in the center, and the back features a triple rear camera arrangement. There is no visible selfie camera on the folding screen, indicating that the device once again features a selfie camera hidden beneath the display.
Notably, the absence of a S Pen compartment confirms recent rumors. Regardless, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 disclosure train appears to be well underway.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Release Date
July 2024 is the anticipated date of the Samsung Unpacked event, during which the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3 will likely be unveiled, according to T3.
Samsung customarily verifies the event date a few weeks prior to its occurrence; therefore, one can anticipate affirmation around July 10, followed by a launch date of July 24.
