Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki called it quits in June although it was reported that prior to the filing of their divorce, the ex-couple were already living separately for months. It was the latter who went to the court to formalized their separation and the actress supposedly did not know about it until she came back to South Korea.
When he filed the papers, Joong Ki did not reveal the reason for their split but he apologized instead and told the public that he just want to have an amicable divorce. On the other hand, when Hye Kyo finally issued a statement via her agency, she said that the reason for the breakdown of their marriage was “irreconcilable differences.”
Has the couple moved on already after their split?
Song Hye Kyo did not really lay low after her divorce from Song Joong Ki was announced. She continued to appear, looking happy, in promotional events and other social functions that is why people bashed her for not even taking a break when she was supposed to be reflecting and in pain after the separation. She received many negative comments and they implied that the actress may have moved on already.
However, new reports suggest otherwise. They said Hye Kyo may still be hanged up on her husband after some fans said she is stalking her ex-husband. The Oriental Daily via Malay Mail
reported that a fan posted a photo of Joong Ki on Insta Story and many saw that the “Descendants of the Sun” actress checked out the post.
With that discovery, they said that Song Hye Kyo hasn’t moved on yet. It was also stated that she may be missing Song Joong Ki and she can only see him from afar now and in this case, she can only check him out through social media posts.
How is Joong Ki post-split?
Song Joong Ki took a short break after filing for divorce and when he emerged, he was back to work for his new sci-fi film. He started filming “Victory” which will also star the “Hobbit” and “Ocean 8” star Richard Armitage.
The two actors also recently had dinner together and the English actor just loved the Korean food. Their movie is expected to premiere in 2020.
