“Suits” season 8 episode 16 is going to be the final installment of the series’ penultimate season. And it is just fitting to bring back one of Harvey's (Gabriel Macht) worst enemies, Daniel Hardman (David Costabile).
The synopsis (via CarterMatt) for “Suits” season 8 episode 16 is very brief just like it had been for the previous episodes. But it assures fans that Harvey has the support of everyone in his firm.
Aside from Harvey, Louis (Rick Hoffman) has also had the displeasure of working with Daniel. So expect to see him quite drowning in panic as their old boss returns and aims to disturb their law practice and take away their firm in “Suits” season 8 episode 16.
In the brief preview of “Suits” season 8 episode 16, Harvey is seen confronting Daniel and promising, “I've never lost to you, Daniel. And I'm not about to now.” But the might not be that easy as he later screams Daniel “got him dead to rights.” Whatever leverage Daniel has over Harvey, it could be related to Donna (Sarah Raferty) as she is seen blaming herself in the trailer saying Harvey might lose the firm because of her.
Everyone in the Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams firm will help put out the fire Daniel will start in “Suits” season 8 episode 16. On his part, Robert (Wendell Pierce) tries to negotiate with Daniel but the latter would only back down if Harvey resigns.
“Suits” season 8 episode 16 might let fans who have been following the show for years experience a trip down memory lane. Daniel's return will certainly bring back stories from the past to establish why he is fueled with vengeance.
Harvey and Daniel go way back and their relationship does not have the best stories in it. Harvey started out as an associate at Daniel's firm. The latter promised Harvey a partnership if his orders are met. But that included leaving a client hanging and that did not sit well with Harvey. Expect more stories like this to come up in “Suits” season 8 episode 16 that will air on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
