Suri Cruise turned 14 on April 18 and her mom, Katie Holmes celebrated her daughter’s special day by sharing a photo on social media. It was indeed a special occasion for the 41-year-old actress rarely post pictures of her child with Tom Cruise.
Katie’s social media birthday greetings
The “Dawson’s Creek” actress shared the picture last weekend and they clearly had a bit of fun despite the country being in lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak. In one of the photos, Holmes uploaded a photo of wall decorations with “Happy Birthday” spelled out with floral accents and she captioned this with "Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!!!!! I am so blessed to be your mom. May this year be incredible!"
In another photo, because she is known to highly value her daughter Suri Cruise’s privacy, Katie Holmes shared a clear picture but the girl was only showing her back. Despite this, it is clearly Tom Cruise’s teenage daughter. This was simply captioned with the words “Birthday vibes.”
Did Tom Cruise greet Suri on her birthday?
Suri has been estranged from her dad since 2012 and it is a known fact that the father and daughter have no communication since the actor and Holmes ended their marriage. Although there are rumors, that they have already reunited after the 14-year-old expressed her wish to see her dad again, these stories were debunked as there is no proof to back up the claims.
Moreover, there is no way that Tom and Suri Cruise could have had a reunion because it has been widely circulated that Scientologists do not allow parents with non-Scientology kids to see each other. The actor is one of the controversial church’s most influential members and it is believed that one of the reasons why Katie Holmes left him is due to his religion and odd beliefs.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life shared pictures of Suri Cruise as she grows up and it is clear that she got the genes of her mother and father. She has the face of her mom and dad mixed together. Fans are captivated with her beauty as she blooms into a young lady but it seems that she has no plans to enter the entertainment world yet.
