Tesla has officially unveiled its highly anticipated Apple Watch app, offering features like key access, frunk control, and climate activation. The app is set to launch next week as part of Tesla’s latest update, enhancing convenience for Apple Watch users with standalone capabilities.

Tesla Unveils Apple Watch App Release Timeline

According to 9to5Mac, the planned app for Apple Watch has been formally announced and revealed by Tesla, and it is anticipated that it will be available as soon as next week.

In the beginning, the official Tesla app for Apple Watch will function as a key, a frunk opener, and an activator for the climate control system. The battery charge level will also be displayed via the watchOS app, which will be independent of the iPhone.

Users of Apple Watch will find the first feature, key access, to be particularly helpful in their daily lives especially.

Convenience for Apple Watch Users on the Go

It is typical practice to leave the iPhone in the car when working out with an Apple Watch, despite the fact that the iPhone has long been an essential device. This capability will be enabled by the future watch app, which will allow the user to leave the car unlocked.

This is the post that Tesla published earlier today.

Holiday Update Brings New Features to Tesla Ecosystem

The Apple Watch app was introduced by Tesla as part of the holiday update that was released this year. The ability to view and share video footage generated by the mobile app, as well as the capability to schedule light displays directly from the iPhone app, are two further upgrades that are coming to iPhone users.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, received a nice response on X in March when he was asked about the possibility of the company developing an app for the Apple Watch.

The month of October saw the appearance of evidence that the app was in fact functioning.
