Good news for fans of Henry Ian Cusick, “The 100” Season 5 will not be the last time that they see him. The actor who is playing the character Marcus Kane just revealed that he would be returning for season 6 of the show. This is despite the facts that the recent episode should have left him mangled, and he appears on another TV show.
The situation that Henry Ian Cusick finds himself in is a rather interesting one that few other TV actors can boast about. He will appear in two shows at once, which should have been something of a contract violation in most people’s minds. This is precisely what will happen. In “The 100” Season 5 and soon, Season 6, he is Marcus, but he will also be in the show called “The Passage.”
The actor confirmed his return for season 6 of the show with TV Line, in an interview that included quite a few interesting tidbits. Aside from confirming his character’s continued existence after “The 100” Season 5, the actor also expressed gratitude for being part of two programs.
“Who knows how long The 100 is going to go, how long this show is going to go?” Henry Ian Cusick told the publication. “At the moment, I’m just in a very fortunate position that I’m on both, and we’ll see how it goes.”
In the same piece, the actor also opened up about a scene where he had to scarf down what was presented as human meat in a recent “The 100” Season 5 episode. He assures audiences that it was a vegan product.
As CarterMatt points out, “The 100” is a show that will eventually end. There’s no telling how long Henry Ian Cusick can keep appearing in two shows at the same time. However, it’s at least good to know that “The 100” Season 5 won’t be his last stint on the program.
