‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 16, titled “The Allowance Evaporation," is set to follow Amy and Sheldon through their relationship troubles and may feature their first major fight since being a couple. Meanwhile, Raj will be struggling financially after his parents cut off his allowance.
The synopsis for “The Allowance Evaporation" posted on TV Guide stated, “Amy (Mayim Bialik) is incensed when she discovers Sheldon (Jim Parsons) has shared intimate relationship information with people at the university; and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) is knocked for a loop when his father stops sending financial support.”
The upcoming episode may feature Amy and Sheldon’s first major fight since being a couple. This may be triggered by Sheldon’s knack of inappropriately sharing details of their private life together and letting the whole campus know about it.
The promo opens to Amy and Sheldon seemingly about to have a major disagreement in the bedroom. The next scene cuts to the couple having dinner with Bert (Brian Posehn), looking like they are enjoying their meal until Bert makes a comment about the two only having sex once a year.
Amy is flabbergasted and asks how Bert could have possible known this very personal detail of their relationship. “You know about that?” she asks. Bert replies, “Everyone at the university knows.”
Sheldon then reveals that he has only been talking to his friends Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg), and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) about it. Then he adds, “…and the lunch lady at the cafeteria.” It will be interesting to see how Sheldon manages to weasel his way out of this one or if Amy will ever forgive him.
Meanwhile, Raj’s father Dr. Koothrappali (Brian George) will be making an appearance on the episode. According to Yahoo! News, Raj will be struggling financially after his rich parents decide to stop sending him money in order to teach him a lesson about independence.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 16, titled “The Allowance Evaporation," was directed by Mark Cendrowski with a story by Eric Kaplan, Maria Ferrari, and Jeremy Howe and teleplay by Steven Molaro, Steve Holland, and Jim Reynolds. It is scheduled to air on CBS on February 16, 2017.
