“The Blacklist” season 6 is coming very soon and NBC is offering a special debut episode as fans have been waiting for the drama for a long time now. The show will also have a new timeslot and the revised schedule has been made to make way for the newest reality show called “The Titan Games.” Nevertheless, this small change will not affect the drama in any way so it is not something to fuss about.
To excite the fans, even more, NBC also released the newest “The Blacklist” season 6’s poster. It was not a simple image for it also offered a glimpse of what can be expected when the sixth season returns.
Elizabeth Keen and Red Reddington were featured in the poster and it looks mysterious as the latter is only showing his back while the former looks on to his face. In the poster, Liz is looking at Red suspiciously while the ex-criminal appears to be trying to hide something from her.

The tagline in the “The Blacklist” season 6 poster which says, "Two can play his game," also suggest that Liz Keen and Red Reddington will have a tensed relationship in the upcoming episodes. Trust is probably something that they cannot give to each other, even if Liz just found out that Red is his father, so this season is going to be about them trying to outdo each other.
At any rate, as per TV Line, the synopsis for “The Blacklist” season 6 reads, “Following the startling revelation that Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader) isn’t who he says he is, Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) is torn between the relationship she’s developed with the man assumed to be her father and her desire to get to the bottom of years of secrets and lies.”
In addition, “Red leads Liz and the FBI to some of the most strange and dangerous criminals yet, growing his empire and eliminating rivals in the process. All throughout, Liz and Red engage in an uneasy cat-and-mouse game in which lines will be crossed and the truth will be revealed.”
Meanwhile, “The Blacklist” season 6 is set to debut on Jan. 3, 2019. This will be a 2-hour special episode that will begin at 8 p.m. Following its premiere, it will be shown again in its regular timeslot on Jan. 4 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
