CHICAGO, March 9, 2016 -- PSAV®, in conjunction with the Convention Industry Council (CIC), recently announced that PSAV Senior Vice President of Operations John Rissi has been named to the CIC Accepted Practice Exchange Standards Committee (APEX) as its new chairman.

In this new role, Rissi will assist with cultivating and introducing industry best practices to foster and improve operations within the meetings, conventions and exhibitor industry.
Rissi stated, "In the past few years, APEX has evolved to utilize a workgroup model, which brings together a diverse cross-section of stakeholders to conduct research and devise knowledge-based responses to issues affecting the industry by conducting research, creating white papers and establishing best practices."
