“The Promise Land” Chapter 119 is going to offer a lot of information as to how exactly Norman survived his supposed death. Prior to the reveal, leaked images of Emma and Norman’s reunion were spread online. But even though this is the case, most fans were still skeptical that the character is actually Norman.
Indeed, even when the official released saw that Norman is alive, most still can’t believe this plot development. For others, however, it’s a welcome salve and provided quite the emotional sequence. And for the really hardcore followers, Norman’s return confirmed the theories that have been postulated in discussion threads. Right now, it’s still unclear how this child prodigy survived his demise and fans can’t wait for the explanation that’s about to be drop on “The Promise Land” Chapter 119.
One of the most popular theories out there is that Norman is actually a clone. And not just any clone, but a replica of either James or Peter Ratri. The theory is based on the fact that Norman exhibits similarities that can be observed in the actions and intelligence of the two Ratri heads. The theory also has precedent in the form of Isabella and Ray where both characters have been given an intelligent, cunning, and manipulative personality. There’s also the fact that Norman has considerably grown. Sure, a Caucasian kid can have a surprising growth spurt but Norman’s development is leaning on the exaggerated side, especially since only two years have passed. “The Promise Land” Chapter 119 is expected to be an info dump for the manga.
Outside of the Norman narrative, the children have now successfully reached the safety of Minerva’s hideout. It’s been revealed that this hideout is secluded inside a huge tree where other children reside. Of course, dangers still loom over everyone what with the threat of demons still out there. But for now, the children and their needs are secure. As such, “The Promise Land” Chapter 119 will be focusing on catching Emma up on the life of Norman and what exactly he’s been up to in the past couple of years. As for when the next release is going to drop, it’s been slated for release on Jan. 11.
