‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8’s episode 7, entitled "The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You," will feature Damon and Sybil crashing Stefan’s final Christmas celebration with Caroline and his friends. Stefan will be forced to make a shocking decision as Cade brings him deeper to the dark side.
The synopsis for episode 7 posted on Comicbook Movie reads, “Faced with the fallout from his interaction with Cade (guest star Wole Parks), Stefan (Paul Wesley) is determined to have one thing go right - Christmas Eve with Caroline (Candice King).
However, when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Sybil (guest star Nathalie Kelley) crash their Christmas Eve dinner, which had been joined by Alaric (Matt Davis), Matt (Zach Roerig) and Peter (guest star Joel Gretsch), things quickly take a dark and twisted turn.
Meanwhile, in a series of flashbacks to Stefan's past, Cade's attempt to entice him with his mysterious agenda leaves Stefan faced with an unimaginable decision.”
The promo for the incoming episode showed that Christmas festivities for Stefan and Caroline are bound to get ugly fast. Damon and Sybil decided to crash the couple’s planned holiday dinner. Damon is very much alive despite having been killed by Alaric in the previous episode, entitled "Detoured On Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell."
According to Game N Guide, Sybil promised the Salvatore Brothers to Cade in exchange for Alaric and Caroline’s daughters. However, Stefan made a deal with the devil to give him 24 hours to spend with Caroline before he is taken for good.
The incoming episode will also explore Stefan's dark past as Cade works attempts to bring him deeper into the dark side. It seems that fateful decisions will have to be made before the episode comes to a close.
‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8’s episode 7, entitled "The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You," is scheduled to air on The CW on December 9, 2016. It was directed by Tanya Hamilton and written by Shukree Hassan Tilghman.
