With the official launch of “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” approaching, developer Spokko Games opened the registration for early access. There will be some limitations, though, as the offer is only extended to fans with Android devices.
‘The Witcher: Monster Slayer’: How to join soft launch on Android
Spokko, a studio within CD Projekt, is making the soft-launch version of “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” available to more players around the world and has invited fans to register for its early access. To get a chance to play the game early, proceed to the official website, where they will be greeted with a form to register.
Fans will be asked to fill in their email associated with a Google Play account. This is a crucial bit of information as only email addresses linked to Google Play will be considered for “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” early access. Fans will also be asked to input their Android phone brand and model.

It appears that registration does not automatically guarantee to have access to the game’s soft-launch version, though. Spokko notes, “At the end of April, we will draw the upcoming Witchers, who will be able to check the game before the global release in our technical soft-launch version for Google Play.” That means fans should get notified on whether or not they can join the early access anytime this week.
‘The Witcher: Monster Slayer’ release date, gameplay: What to expect
As the title suggests, “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” will let fans focus on hunting and slaying monsters, which is Geralt’s main job description in the popular RPG “The Witcher 3” developed by CD Projekt Red. The mobile game is also set in the same world as the 2007 title, allowing fans to revisit the Continent.
However, the few teasers for “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” hints that it is set ”long before” Geralt has explored the place. The game also mainly features augmented reality-based gameplay, meaning some elements of the Continent will be combined with players’ real-world surroundings through the game.
Spokko has yet to mention an early access program for iOS users, but “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” is confirmed to launch both on Android and iOS devices. A specific release date has not been announced, but the developer promised to launch the full version in the summer.
