Washington, D.C., Aug. 23, 2017 -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is proud to announce that Jacquelyn Puente, Executive Director for External Affairs at Comcast, will receive the Corporate Advocate of the Year Award at the 2017 USHCC National Convention on October 3rd in Dallas, TX.

This award is presented each year to a corporate executive who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to championing the cause of American small business and Hispanic Business Enterprise, and who has worked tirelessly in support of the USHCC’s mission.
“Throughout her career, Jacquelyn has strongly advocated on behalf of the Hispanic business community in corporate America. Her determination, persistence and hard work in the interest of Americans of all backgrounds is embodied by her active leadership at Comcast,” said USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “Jacquelyn believes that cultivating and developing our diverse business communities is critical to the future of our American economy. At Comcast, Jacquelyn is an executive director for external affairs, responsible for partnerships and engaging diverse stakeholders on policy issues in the telecommunications and cable industry. Throughout her career, Jacquelyn has served as a respected liaison between public, private, and nonprofit entities to promote change and deliver mutually beneficial policy outcomes.
